Meet Marzipan

Marzipan’s owner commissioned a custom portrait as a valentines gift for their partner that captured her bright green eyes and pattern perfectly. From sketch to woodwork, every detail was tailored to her spirit.

Meet Sushi

Dan commissioned a portrait of his spicy shiba named Sushi! Sushi lives in San Diego California and enjoys hiking, long walks on the beach, and napping! This portrait captured Sushi’s excited look and fine coat.

Meet Lyra

Mei and Eric commissioned a portrait of their cat Lyra who’s friendly personality always shines through, even when she’s being dangled by her dad!

Meet Teddy

Teddy’s portrait was gifted to his mother a few years ago as a Christmas present. She couldn’t stop crying when she received it and has it displayed behind her at work during meetings. While you can see he has aged a bit since then, he’s still just as cute!

Perfect

To capture your pet’s personality in layered detail, start with a clear, well-lit photo. Blurry or out-of-focus images make it tough to trace their true expression. Aim for a front-facing shot with their full face in view — eyes forward, ears visible, and their natural vibe shining through. Whether they’re stoic, silly, or full of attitude, the angle you choose helps us bring that spirit to life.

blocky $150

detailed $200

Both styles offer something special — it’s all about what suits your taste. The blocky option leans bold and graphic, with clean shapes and defined colors that give a playful, stylized look. What you see in the proof will closely match the final result. On the other hand, the fully detailed version brings out subtle textures, shadows, and hand-painted depth. It’s ideal if you want your pet’s portrait to feel lifelike and layered with personality. The proof for this style gives a basic preview, while the final piece reveals the full nuance and richness once painted.

Each portrait is approximately 10in x 11in. Larger sizes can be accommodated for an added fee.

Proof

Once the design is ready, we’ll send over a proof for your approval. This preview shows how your pet’s portrait will come together — with line work indicating each distinct wood layer and painted section. On the back, you’ll find our logo, your pet’s name, and a custom message if you’d like to add one. The proof includes a simplified color map of the final piece. If you’ve chosen the blocky style, what you see will closely match the final result. If you’ve picked the detailed style, the proof offers a base color guide while the final product will include more nuanced shading and hand-painted depth.
